Qualified to Walk with Kings
Tuesday Aug 06, 2019
Tuesday Aug 06, 2019
God blesses me to do some consultant work for non-profits and one of the things I shared with our board members was a lesson from the book of Esther. She had a problem that needed the King's attention but she approached him with tremendous wisdom. She entreated him with honor and dignity, impressed him and recognized his authority even though he was oblivious to what was happening, and then she addressed the problem. How you address an issue goes a long way in how the matter is resolved. Further, to stand in the King's court (or to hold the ear of the one in authority), it is extremely important that you consider your presentation (what you say and how you say it). I added that Nehemiah, the cupbearer, was cautious to watch his countenance before approaching King Artaxerxes about rebuilding Jerusalem. My point was that presentation is essential to a person in authority keeping their ear open to you. And if your role is to advise someone in leadership, you need the wisdom from God to deal with problems without being overcome by them.

Who hasn't had a time in their life when they felt like their backs were up against the wall. It felt like more doors were closing than opening and what was worse, was that every day seemed to bring about a new problem. This message is going to encourage you and build you in the faith to know that God is your present help in times of trouble. I share several scriptures that you can recall to yourself. I also give Biblical testimonies of how God has provided help for his people in times past. Lift up your head and be encouraged.

This podcast examines a conversation between Jesus and Peter based upon John chapter 21 verses 15 through 17. Jesus addresses Peter on the thing he returned to as he abandoned his first love. This is a very motivating message for any of you who may have backslidden from thee works God has placed in your hands. It looks at those who were affected by your abandonment and it outlines points for you to get back in your place. Let the message bless you.

Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Continue with God’s Assignment Until it is Completed
How many of us have said, "God said," when God has not said? And how many of us have said, "God said," and then abandon the thing God had spoken about? This message reveals the power behind God's word and warns us against using God's word in vain. My scriptural references are below. Let this message bless you.
Isaiah 46:10, “I distinguish the end from the beginning, and ancient times from what is still to come, saying: 'My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.'”
Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?”
John 19:30, “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
John 4:34, “Jesus explained, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work.”
John 17:4, “I have glorified You on earth by accomplishing the work You gave Me to do.”

Restoring the Fallen
Tuesday Jul 23, 2019
Tuesday Jul 23, 2019
This message deals with two people, the person who has fallen and the person who is assigned to do the restoration. I cover biblical examples from the Old and New Testament to convey the seriousness of what the restoration of a fallen brother entails. I also share my personal testimony of being restored and what the fruit of that restoration looks like. Gal. 6:1, 2 Samuel 11-12, Ezekiel 33, and Genesis 14:1-24 are my scriptural references. Be blessed.
