Understanding Garden Systems
Tuesday Jul 09, 2019
Tuesday Jul 09, 2019
In prayer this morning, the Lord brought someone to my spirit which led me to ask, "Why is this person always discouraged?" I couldn't;t help but notice that this person battled with constant discouragement and was often seen with their head hung down. The Lord responded, "(He) sows the seed of discouragement in the lives of others!" WOW!
I began searching the scriptures which led me to ask the Lord again about seed. This time He spoke, "Marry science to faith and study garden systems." Needless to say, you are about to hear the fruit of those instructions.
The entire Bible has 52 references to gardens specifically mentioned from Genesis to John, the last of the Four Gospels. Go figure. This message will enlighten you in many areas concerning why sowing seed is necessary and what happens when we aren't diligent over it. You will be blessed by the word.

Understanding the Season of Forgotteness - Preached
Saturday Jul 06, 2019
Saturday Jul 06, 2019
It can be a lonely season when God is quiet and you feel as if all He has promised you has already past. Joseph was left alone to war with a promise He received in his father's house. He found himself a stranger, even a prisoner in a foreign place yet He held on to the promises of God even when it looked as if God and his family had forgotten him. If you can relate to Joseph's story, this is your reminder that God has not forgotten you.
I ministered this message in my church on my birthday last year. Enjoy this throwback.

The Problem with Poor Decisions
Friday Jul 05, 2019
Friday Jul 05, 2019
Everyone has seasons where they have entertained thoughts of giving up and walking away. It is part of the human experience to feel overwhelmed sometimes, the remedy that seems to offer relief from the pressures of life is to just drop it altogether. The issue with that is that when we are responsible for others, making a decision to stop, drop, and roll away may not be in everyone else's best interest as much as it seems to be ours. For the sake of who is attached to you, making a poor decision can be expensive. And sometimes, the consequences of those poor decisions can derail our destiny.
This message looks at the life of Terah, Abraham's father, who fell short of his destiny. He died in Haran which is translated, a dry place. God doesn't want you to dwell in Haran; He has promises He wants to fulfill for you but they are contingent upon you enduring the race that is set before you. Let this message bless you.

Insight Into The Enemy's Camp
Thursday Jul 04, 2019
Thursday Jul 04, 2019
I had a lucid dream early this morning and in that, the Lord revealed the heart of a person close to me. Now, before you think that I am being petty, hear me out. It is important to know the hearts, minds, and spirits of those whom you work alongside. If not, you can inadvertently set your heart to be pierced through with many sorrows.
In the podcast, I share some of the details of my dream and the interpretation thereof, but the lesson learned was one I could hardly keep to myself. I feel it needed to be shared.
Basing this lesson from a short, but challenging season in Gideon's life, I believe there are some rich takeaways that can bless your life and mine. Listen and be blessed.

The Audacity of Hope
Wednesday Jul 03, 2019
Wednesday Jul 03, 2019
Each of us has petitions before the Father in prayer for Him to perform a sign and wonder in our life. Though they may all differ from one to another, it remains something that we ‘hope’ for. Like Abraham, we may find ourselves hoping against any sign of hope, yet we maintain steadfast in the things of God because we know He is able. We don’t know His methods or even His timing, but we know He is faithful to perform what He has promised.
This message is birthed from one of my own petitions that I brought before the Father in prayer. I honestly felt a sense of frustration with it. This situation looks so big in my eyes, and I found myself wondering how and when God was going to do it. Just then, the Holy Spirit spoke to me concerning the life of Abraham and reminded me of his testimony. After studying it, I was encouraged to keep on trusting God and waiting patiently for Him. Let this word bless you and make certain to share it with someone whom you know needs to hear it.

The Business of Marriage
Tuesday Jul 02, 2019
Tuesday Jul 02, 2019
Ask anyone what they think about marriage and you may be in for a rude awakening. People's experiences with marriage have caused them to draw many conclusions about this most prominent institution, but God is firm in what He has established. He still means for marriages to be the bedrock of our society. Though this message is not one of condemnation, nor is it solely meant for the married, I offer a unique perspective on regardless of which end of marriage you find yourself. Listen and be blessed.

The Accuser of the Brethren
Sunday Jun 30, 2019
Sunday Jun 30, 2019
Jude is a relatively short book in the Bible, but there is one particular verse of scripture that directly correlates how much intense hatred Satan has for the believing ones. In verse 9, we find that after the death of Moses, the extenuating circumstances surrounding his burial did not sit well with Satan, the legalist, contentious adversary. He wanted to know where the body of Moses was buried, and since God personally buried Moses, Satan’s ignorance of the matter infuriated him. He had charges to press against Moses for sins he committed as a zealous young Hebrew and as a frustrated leader of the nation of Israel and he eagerly wanted his day in court.
Michael, the prince angel of Israel, who had a full understanding of why Satan was so interested in Moses’ body, dared to return the accusation as to why God buried Moses. Instead, he rebutted, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan!” The rest is history.
Listen to my Sunday morning preached messaged that equips the believer with sobering reasons for living a life of repentance before God and the importance of maintaining their places under the Blood of Jesus. Let it bless you.

How to Handle Being Challenged
Saturday Jun 29, 2019
Saturday Jun 29, 2019
Who wants to be challenged? Everyone wants to believe that they are doing the right thing, the right way. At least, I know I do. But what happens, when someone calls you to the carpet? Moses, one of the most prolific leaders in the Bible, had just that experience to happen to him. Jethro, a man he admired and who was most instrumental in facilitating his rehabilitation process in the wilderness, challenged his style of leadership. It takes a great deal of humility to listen to someone as they list the areas where you have missed it, but it also a sign of self-confidence when you can listen without being offended.
This message is going to help you understand the difference between types of challenges you may be confronted with. As sure as there are good challenges, there are not-so-good challenges. Trust me, there are people, even in leadership potions, whose method of challenging you is unhealthy. Their motives are selfish or evil, at worst, so be discerning to not accept what can become a hindrance to you. You will also learn what a good challenge looks like. You will hear me share Biblical examples of what a good challenge is made of. You won’t miss it the next time you encounter one.

The Art of Mercy
Thursday Jun 27, 2019
Thursday Jun 27, 2019
My baby boy commutes to college and since his car is down, I have been transporting him back and forth to campus. This morning, in particular, while waiting at the stop light, I turned to my right and saw a gentleman who appeared to be under the influence. My first thought was, “What in the world is wrong with him?” As if to interrupt my thoughts, the Father spoke expressly and said, “That is My son. I love him but he is bound by drug demons.” I felt convicted in my spirit and immediately began to pray for “God’s son who was bound by drugs.”
Last night, in my studies, I came across a scenario in scripture that talked about the mercy of God. After my experience this morning, I knew it was confirmation to what the Lord wanted me to share today on my podcast. I titled the message “The Art of Mercy” because we are not born merciful; we must be taught how to have compassion on others. In the message, I expounded on Proverbs 6:16-19; Luke 11:5-8, and James 2:13 as I attempted to bring an understanding as to why God expects us to be compassionate. I used some personal examples, too, that I hope will inspire you to consider the matter, weigh it against your own actions and see what God reveals to you about you. Let the message bless you.
